It was ex Bishop Dubbs that was very interesting at the Evangelical church Sunday evening of last week instead of Mr. D. Schafer as stated last week. Mistakes will happen.

Edward Hachmeister will sell at public auction at his place, 1/4 mile south of Higgins road in the town of Leyden, on Wednesday, March 25th, stock of horses, cattle, farming implements, etc.

It seems as though Barrington had not ought to be without a collector. The following are a few candidates named: John coolen, James Gothard, and M. Domenowske. Make your choice.

The Dickinson building has been remodeled for dwelling rooms. It has been handsomely papered and painted and presents a  homelike appearance. Mrs. Dickinson and Mrs. Colburn occupy it this week.

M. Domenowske is one of the candidates mentioned for Town Collector in Barrington. Mr. Domenowske has withdrawn in favor of another candidate other years and thinks he had ought to have their support this year.

Mr. Charles C. Flint, who has been in the employ of the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Ry. for more than a year as station agent, has resigned his position and accepted one as Postal clerk for Uncle Sam. While in Barrington, Mr. Flint has made numerous friends; while they regret to have him leave, they wish him success in his new undertaking, and such he fully deserves.
